Flyin’ Miata frame rails arrived

As long as I had the Konis it only seemed right to go full on Flyin’ Miata. Debating whether to go the full route and spring for the buttery fly brace I settled on the rails for now. After some debate with a friend who know’s about tracking Miatas the FMs were the ones to get mainly due to the solid lattice structure. Not shown are the SuperPro steering rack bushings that I hope will help solidify the 250K mile front end.

Finding Koni adjustable shocks on Craigslist or the FM Stage 1

I had my eye on the new TEIN coilover for the Craigslist Miata, but at $1600 it was hard to justify nearly doubling the cars purchase price. Lucky for me there happened to be a set of Koni adjustable shocks wrapped in Flyin’ Miata springs and a set of NB top mounts for a much easier installation. The main reason for this is that I want to try and put the shocks full stiff to see if the car will drift, a little bit.
